The purpose to the publication of the <<Secondary School Profiles>> (SSP) is to assist parents of primary six pupils in making choices of the secondary schools in the Cycle of the Secondary School Places allocation System for their children.

The SSP covers over 400 secondary schools in Hong Kong with basic information such as school characteristics, facilities, class structure, extra-curricular activities, fees etc.

The SSP, commissioned to the Hong Kong Education City, has gone cyber since 2002/2003 school year. It facilitates parents to obtain school information easily through the hyperlink to the homepage of individual school and the search function. In addition, schools can update their information on web direct.

Parents can visit the SSP through this page by clicking at the above "Visit the Site" button or the direct link to the SSP provided by the Hong Kong Education City at http://chsc.edb.hkedcity.net/secondary/.

Each current primary six pupil will be provided with one copy of the printed version of the SSP in the district where he/she lives through his/her school before Christmas.

The SSP is available in Chinese only. If parents wish to have schools' basic information in English, please visit the websites of the schools or contact the schools concerned direct.
